Our compostable deli containers are made from NatureWorks Ingeo™, which is derived from plants grown in the USA. Our biodegradable deli containers meet the most stringent scientific requirements for biodegradability and compostability. Even though they are as light and strong as plastic, they breakdown when composted. Composts in 2 to 3 months in a commercial composting facility. Not microwavable. Matching Ingeo™ PLA lids are available separately.
